Second Saturday Kid's Quest is an active learning program presented in three parts. Each quarter, three monthly programs will be presented on a related nature topic. Through the use of presentations, games and activities, we will explore our natural surroundings. This program is geared towards elementary-aged students and will be held at the Nature Center. Come dressed for the weather as outdoor exploration is always a possibility. The program will begin at 1 pm on the Second Saturday of each month and last about 45 minutes. Parents may attend the program with their children or choose to explore the nature center on their own. These events are included with paid admission to the nature center. Last Saturday Crafts is a fun activity time at the nature center, held at 1 pm during the last Saturday of the month. We will have a make-and-take-activity most children can complete independently, although parents may need to assist preschool-aged children. Any age child is welcome to participate.
